Tidewater and Tulle
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
Thank you so much in wanting to be featured on Tidewater and Tulle! To honor our Coastal Virginia origin story, we only publish weddings, engagement sessions, and stylized shoots that took place in the state of Virginia and the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We love a balance of details and emotional portraits in our submissions, and we welcome all simply edited professional photography styles that tell diverse love stories!
Tidewater and Tulle is a semi-exclusive online wedding publication. We generally do not accept submissions that have been featured previously or awaiting to be published on another wedding blog or magazine (with exception to your own personal blog). However in continued effort to better represent the diversity in our region, we will always make an exception to review previously-published submissions that share a BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or AAPI couple and their love story. (Please see our Statement of Love, Action, and Solidarity for more information.) When submitting, please indicate where and when it has already been published.
If you would like to resubmit your feature to another wedding publication after being published on Tidewater and Tulle, we ask that you wait two (2) months before submitting elsewhere and let the second publication know that it was first featured here on Tidewater and Tulle as industry courtesy and standard.
To avoid confusion, we only accept submissions from photographers/filmmakers or their wedding PR representatives. If you are a vendor or bride/groom, please ask the photographer to submit. If the photographer/filmmaker is unavailable to submit for any reason, written emailed permission from the photographer will be required if we haven't published their work before.
Want to support Tidewater and Tulle at no cost to you? Purchase anything on Etsy or Amazon through our affiliated links. We earn a small commission for any sale we bring over to the marketplaces! This helps keep our content free and available to all, and most importantly, allows us to publish local weddings and promote wedding vendors. Wedding blogs are constantly closing down due to the ever-changing industry, so we are very grateful that our audience has always supported us in this tiny, but impactful way since 2013!
